Hooked on Miracles is a non-profit organization that hosts an annual King Mackerel Fishing Tournament in support of the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. The 3-day King Mackerel tournament begins with a Captain’s meeting on Thursday, July 23rd, and will conclude with the King Mackerel Tournament on Saturday, July 25th. All events are hosted at the Ripley Light Yacht Club in Charleston, SC, with an Awards Ceremony and Party following the weigh-in. The "Miracles" Tournament began in 1994, as a fun way to raise money for the MUSC Children’s Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Since its inception, approximately $1,000,000 in contributions have been shared between our beneficiaries from this Lowcountry event. That level of support would not be possible without sponsorship of philanthropic efforts. Sponsor contributions are apportioned 100% for the direct allocation to our beneficiaries; sponsorship funds are not utilized for tournament administration purposes.
